Our Story
Orphans Good Support Foundation emerged in response to the humanitarian crises in war zones like Gaza, Ukraine, and the Middle East. Founded by individuals from diverse professional backgrounds—including trade unions and aid organisations—we were united by a shared sense of horror at the plight of civilians, particularly children. A critical catalyst was the medical abbreviation "SCNSF" (Single Child, No Surviving Family), symbolising the most vulnerable orphans left behind in conflict. Determined to act, we established a charity focused, currently, exclusively on supporting these children.
What We Do
- Direct Financial Support:
Provide grants for essentials (food, shelter, education, healthcare) and recreational activities (sports, arts) to restore normalcy. - Partnership-Driven Aid:
Collaborate with trusted in-region charities (e.g., in Jordan) and grassroots groups to expedite due diligence and fund delivery. - Conflict-Zone Focus:
Prioritise orphans in active war zones, starting with Gaza—where over 38,000 children have lost parents—and scaling to other regions.
How We Operate
- Legal Structure: Charitable Incorporated Organisation (Foundation Model).
- Funding Model: 100% of donations fund programs (Trustees and volunteers receive no remuneration).
- Transparency: Rigorous due diligence on partners, real-time impact reporting, and Charity Commission registration (pending).
- Growth Strategy: Start small, scale sustainably via donor support and alliance-building with unions, NGOs, and local networks.
